I ditched wireless and went for 200mb powerlines. Much better now

Ahhh, but I know I am! Had to go through this earlier in the year. My file server is 120' away in the office and copying things to and from it was unbearable.

Back in February (I think) we had the hall stairs and landing done by me mate whose a painter and decorator, and I also did the back spare room. While the carpets were up I had the floorboards up and laid Gigabit ethernet.

Now it flys! Well, as much as it can.
