I recently got a galaga cocktail from us. It cost $100 crating, $150
international delivery, + 17%tax at heathrow + 2% because its a game with a
monitor!, there's also a handling charge - 25ish i think?, a storage charge
if its at the airport for more than 2 days.(you have to get a letter from
the flight company before collection, you get 2 days free from when this
arrives).
I asked the guy to value the machine at $300 for me. - that saves on tax,
but obviously doesnt insure your game for as much.
If you do international delivery get the bill number as soon as possible,
then you can arrange collection.
I know it sounds like a hastle but its not too bad. It cost me $250 + 90ish
at heathrow. It's expensive, but most games do tend to be cheaper in the US.
I guess thats rip-off Britain for you
