If the person concerned has broken forum rules and/or ripped people off - including some existing, long-term members - then I can't see why they wouldn't just get banned. Maybe if the individual concerned is also a long-term member, that might complicate matters... I dunno.

I have no idea what you’re talking about but xenforo as been mentioned as being the new software platform for the forum, xenforo offers the option to ignore other members, so yes you’ll have the option not to see anything they post.

I am looking into it. This isn't my day job.

I have a family, I have a full time job and I have kids that I take to swimming and football clubs at evenings and weekends.

You could have just bumped your PM to me.

I will update in due course. I won't lock this thread but I could really do without additional drama right now.

And yes Xenforo allows you to block people both in private pm and in general forum threads :)

Ha, sorry guys, wasn’t my intent to stir up speculation! I’ve massively reconsidered the value of me posting this thread, and perhaps it’s better removed?

For what it’s worth, this recent dispute didn’t involve me, but I’ve had my own, and I’m aware of plenty of others who’ve had remarkably similar experiences.

I spoke up when perhaps I should have kept myself to myself.

It’s a forum for a great hobby. Should just be fun. I ought to relax.
