Hi, I know this isn't really the place for Retroarch issues, just trying my luck looking for some general advise and experience using Retroarch on a 15khz display.
I've been using Groovymame successfully for years now including Chunksins excellent RO W7 image for convenience. As we're in lock down my brother and I have been making use of netplay built into Retroarch to play some old console games together. I decided the next step was to try outputting to a CRT, and after following a few guides to install the necessary super resolutions, configuring RA to use switchres, all the different 8 and 16bit systems seem to output in 240p. The image looks perfect when static but any scrolling there's visible tearing approximately half way down the screen. This isn't an issue I've ever seen with groovymame. After reading numerous forum posts this seems to be a common RA issue, without a clearly defined fix.
Anybody else tried RA CRT and know anything about the screen tearing issue and/or experimented with netplay?
Cheers, Paul
