Truly Ace, just booked my tickets for me and my son.

Managed to work things out nicely - going to book a hotel in the vicinity where the wife and toddler have access to either Leamington, Warwick or Stratford for shopping while we hammer the games. Only managed to negotiate the Saturday event but aim to make the very most of it. If the son gets bored I can arrange a swift collection service from either Leamington, Warwick or Stratford

Also my son wants to come with me. What's the age limit on the child tickets Boyo? I was lucky enough to bag one of the free weekend passes but need to sort one out for him

I don't think there is an age limit... I need to recheck my hotel booking

I just checked. We're in the Holiday Inn, and I seem to remember Rav booked the same as us. I think at the time nobody had suggested anything so I just went online and booked what was the closest I could find according to Google Maps. I estimate it's about a 5 minute walk, 10 tops.

But hopefully someone in the know can confirm one way or another.

Hoping to make it (just waiting on confirmation - My brother is holding an art exhibition soon and I'm hoping it's the weekend before revival).

If I do come I'll be staying at Castilla del Ade (on account I live less than 30 minutes away)

OK; my brother's art exhibition IS the weekend before so revival tickets ordered (just waiting on confirmation and e-tickets to come back).

It'll be my first event but would be a miserable sod if I didn't go (since it's so close to home)

I am staying here, as have no car, so its the nearest train station and only around 4miles away

Premier Inn (Coventry City Centre - Earlsdon Park), it was also a bargain £29 a night a room

I'll be honest, pictures didn't make it look like the best of places but I looked on google maps and thought that even a lazy barstool like me can walk that far!

Im in the Best Western Peacock hotel. Its abot 1/2 a mile down the road, but was £155 for 3 nights vs £270+ for the holiday inn. That plus tbe fact it has an indian Restaurant clinched it for me.

Thanks for the link. It's pretty cheap for a room. I'm only 60 miles away so...maybe stay till late then drive home.
