Your mobo should be Korean as well. In SeibuSPI MAME driver, you have the keys for all the regions, check if Korea region key matches Jap one. Btw, it is possible to change the region of the mobo in reburning the iC where the region key is stored. You can change the region in the program roms of the cart as well.
