if it was not for this guy how many of us would of had a chance of playing video games at home as kids

The man was an absolute genius , how they laughed and mocked the c5 , he was way ahead of our time.

loved my speccy and always will

A true legend, his story is on youtube a great watch. A sad loss, as said without him my interest in programming and computers may not have happened. Speccy was my first , with rubber keys.

Its sad that he's gone. Admitted most of the arcade games i claimed to have played back in the days were just spectrum ports cos i couldn't afford to credit any game. Thanks to Clive Sinclair and Alan Sugar.

I stick a candle on the invaders later.

Really sad news to hear Sir Clive has passed away

My love of gaming started with the ZX Spectrum. I had the 48k+ and played it to death, great days.

Did i just miss it or has it still not been mentioned on the TV all day

I don't watch the news on TV, but it made a brief appearance on the BBC website, with low down the page billing. Made me wonder if Sir Clive had a falling out with the BBC, or something. BBC are a bunch of right-on w**kers, anyway.

well worth a watch if youve not seen it

I’m hoping BBC show this again soon. Agree, it’s definitely worth a watch. The pub fight had me in stitches. Not sure if it’s an accurate portrayal, but Alexander Armstrong was great. Not quite police officer Panda levels, but still good.
