Hello everyone,
I am trying to determine whether Sega arcade cabinet manuals followed a consistent system regarding cover colors and the two-letter codes printed after the "1st Printing" notice.
I own two original copies of the *G-LOC Air Battle* (Deluxe version) manual, both bearing the following details :
• Manual No. 420-5935-03
• 1st Printing – AR
Their content and pagination are identical, yet one has a blue cover and the other a pale green one.
Does anyone know if this corresponds to a specific print batch, printer, distributor, or territory, an internal Sega document code, or simply the paper stock available for covers?
I have also seen other Sega manuals with codes like JN, AG, JL, FB, OT, etc. Has anyone found a reliable explanation for these suffixes ?
I would be very interested in seeing photos or examples of other Sega manuals that share the same part number but feature different cover colors or print codes.
