Iv got no wiper action..

Best I have got is speakers behaving as rears ..

Nothing on r-tuned ..

I think my speakers are wired wrong perhaps ..

My paddle down is stuck on ..
Also
Só I’m going to try removing the paddle down wire from the I/o
To see if the i/o is faulty ..

I have removed the paddle shifter and down still stuck onIMG_6557.jpeg
See gear position down ..

I think it should read OFF

On a plus cab is wired for a 5 gear shifter 😊&
All lights work

Are the right pins on shifter microswitch correctly, ie it's on NO normally open and not NC
Nah it’s either I/o
Or loom issue ..

It does it with shifter removed from cab ..

If i short ground pin to up pin
In connector housing
with shifter removed from cab ..

I get up, no probs their .

When I remove Gnd from up pin
It automatcaly returns to down .and just stays down all the time ..

I read a failing I/o or a short .

I am also getting a temperamental boost button registering on /off as I turn the wheel .. will remove wheel parts and inspect that next also

I’m going to remove padel down pin only from the I/o connector

If it’s still held on then I/o has a short on that pin maybe a resistor..

If it’s not then has to be something in the loom ..
( can’t imagine its the loom but im normally wrong

Só to recap I have tried 2x motor driver pcbs
2x converter PCB’s

No joy

Now with the new non sega serial converter I’m getting a new error .

Original error says im not connected to The main board

New error is original point error ?

Tried with ground
Didn’t change anything
IMG_6578.jpeg
Not easy to make out
But I pulled the ground that’s in the original connector and used that it’s still connected as expected .. no ffb initiation.

Maybe Logic board on the wheel ?
Maybe 2 bad motor driver boards .🧐

This guy has it working

With new serial converter has the last ground contact populated .

But I can’t see where he is bringing it from ..IMG_6586.pngIMG_6585.jpeg

Here on the schimatic
IMG_6587.jpeg

See Gnd 6 becomes SH
Then that goes to pin 1 on motor controller pcb labelled
SHD Gnd. Sheilded ground

Só the new converter dosent have this on the output ..

Só where would be the best place for me to pull thet from ?

Is it important ?

Didnt help ..
I looked again me the vts service and test buttons are NOT SAME across all the variations of Lindbergh racing game /cab variants .. i was looking at 24 & 26 on the jvs io pinout but then if i run Hummer then run outrunsp vts behaves diffrently ..

So im loosing the will to use a Lindbergh original hardware ..
I could emulate with Lindbergh loader which I will try next,

I can also use Lindbergh motor servo / steering mech with pc . Via universal ffb pcb I have so I have options :)
