Got this from another member, and will certainly be a challenge, as my woodworking skills should be a jailing offence! Cab was in a chip shop fire, but only got the heat, which distorted the plastics.

I kept all the spares from the disaster hang on mini, I bought 3 years ago, so should be able to make a half decent cab when finished. (If anyone has the plastic handlebar cover going spare, please let me know.

After being stored for ages, and even offered for sale a while back, I have finally bought project back home, and will be starting on repairing the shell.

Managed to get a few NOS parts, including the front bezel, plastic dash, speedo gauge, brake & accelerator cables, bump stops, and hopefully getting a control panel decal being reproduced. All metalwork has been powdercoated.

Oh I’ll be watching this .if you come across side art it would be good
I could do with a nice plastic dash and speedo

The original side art on these is dreadful! If you so much as even looked at it, it would rub off. I'm having the control panel overlay reproduced. Im sure with the dimentions, olly could do sideart.

I have side art in mine which I could properly photo and measure? I’m up for a CPO, mines battered. Are you getting it repro’d with Olly already or just something for the future?

This will be a great restore. I think its so much more when the cabs have history, what a great story. Any pics of it in the chippy ??

Dave.

I started trying to revive mine from under the black paint
But it was coming off too ,very easily unfortunately
But my side had some blue in it too .though getting some made up the same as yours would do me well

Sorting out the wiring loom. Filthy cables, burnt wires, missing parts of loom. Luckily I have a full spare loom, to replace any missing loom wires. I am replacing every single connector, as all yellow/Brown with age.

Coin shelf had moisture damage and was split. Held in with wooden dowels, but fell to pieces when removed. A nice piece of ply to replace this.
