What courier are you guys using to ship stuff to Europe? I may need to ship something to France and the quote on the Royal Mail site is eye-watering.

if it's something you sold via ebay's global shipping program then you usually send it to a uk warehouse address and they ship it to the foreign country

Back when I was sending large items round the world I would get quotes from Parcel2Go as Olly suggested as well as Parcel Monkey and I think Interparcel as well. The price of the shipping differed on all of the sites as well as the charge for additional insurance cover so I ended up using services from the different websites depending on the insurance level required.

The rule of thumb is, if it’s over 2kgs then Royal Mail are basically not interested.
As previously mentioned, Parcel2go should be your first port of call for anything more than 2kgs.

Thing is, it's under 1kg and not very big, but the RM prices were ridiculous. They really need to wake up and smell the coffee, or they'll have no business left.
