Solved (Solved) MGCD (Dreamcast to Jamma) controllers not working.

Hello,

I have on the bench this MGCD thing, It's an Sega Dreamcast to Jamma controller board.
All I get is the Date/Time set UP but I'm unable to get passt that. It appears that the outputs to the dreamcast controllers are not working. I can coin it up and see the credit overlay on the screen but that's all.
I do not have any controlllers to test and I also don't have any game inside.

Any of you have this thing an can make some messurments? Maybe someone knows what pin on the jamma ist the A button? (I did try them all without success)

Maybe someone else will chime in but I remember getting one in a lot a while Back and discovering its not jamma wired and I had to make an adapter for it. Some info here

Finally got a Dreamcast MGCD up and running in my cab.

Got all that done.
The activity on the output towards dreamcast seam to be quite odd. So it would be great if someone could put on logic probe on some pins.

All dips from the 8 dips bank set to ON and the controllers work just fine... Should have tested the game select dips from the beginning.

I got myself an Dreamshell SD thinking that I can play some games....
It is a pain to use it without an analog stick. Most of the games just stays at an blank screen. The only one I managed to boot is panzer front but still difficult to control. This thing might only be good for the games in the list if on the orginal disk.
A waste of time. If anybody wants to buy it, let me know.
