Well a bit of a rant and a bit of a warning to others

Purchased an Atari 2600 AV Mod-kit

Free Postage offered

Ive sold loads so far but mysteriously his doesn't arrive

i tell him confirm your address ill send a FREE replacement

but no reply, i wait and wait and wait and no reply

i realize that hes waiting it out for the day he can pass onto to eBay to resolve

I think you guys know where this is going

his excuse to escalate the claim rather than message me and get his replacement was

Purchased else where

yet no one else sells Atari mods on ebay
1. like the ones i sell
2. cheaper than me

I did PM him after ebay settled the claim in his favour and he doesn't even have the shame to reply

i guess you win this round,i know the item arrived to you and my mistake was not sending it recorded so you was able to claim

except me. only an idiot would buy the non uk ones at a higher price
than my ones. rather than take a replacement as offered by me

down to not replying to the case in wait for ebay to deal with it

never know, your Atari might just burn out and you loose out anyway

Really if you offered replacement, he shouldn't of been able to pass to ebay to get a refund, I would of spoke to ebay and point that out

I am getting to the point I don't want to sell on ebay now, so so many scammers on there, selling and buying

certainly won't post anything with out tracking these days and even then I had someone claim it never arrived, it was never signed for but that doesn't mean he didn't get it, I've had Signed for items delivered and not got me to sign, so in that case I had to claim from royal mail

Could you not have escalated it yourself advising ebay you had offered a replacement. Sometimes if you push that button first, you then win.

The buyers sounds a bit of a knob.

Well he's in my blocked list, see he sells stuff as well and in St Helens, I'm not gonna have people like that buying from me, so if all members on here block him that could screw him in the future as he'll be left out of many video game items he might want

I buy a few bits on ebay but feel for sellers. Happens both ways tho, had someone send a broken (physically) game but didn't describe it and took the picture in the right place to not show it :|

Also the usual refund and relist.

I wonder if these people would normally act this way? Like is it easier to be a d$#k when it's all internet based rather than face to face or a brick n mortar?

Sometimes i can be really evil and the worse thing for him is if he blocks me, i actually have 3 secret ebay accounts that i use for doing just these things

yes it works both ways but to do it as a seller on ebay is stupid because ebay always sides with buyer regardless

i once brought a POLO Chassis once and it arrived with the RGB connector sheared off and a hole in its place

seller took the photo in such a way that there was a shadow over it and looked like there was nothing wrong

i still have it and i use it for parts

the LOPT turnt out to be a worker and was used to fix a chassis with dead LOPT so not all a loss
