Weird one here for you folks.
I’ve got a Rival Schools PCB that is exhibiting some bizarre behaviour.
If left to its own devices the game boots the attract mode but black screens at the title screen.
The game can be played if credited before the title screen is due to show and then exhibits exactly the same behaviour if left after the game is finished.
The game can be played without any failures, it’s just the title screen that hangs up.
Anyone got any idea what could be causing this?

Edit: I’ve done the usual, reseated Roms and ensured there’s no loose connection between the daughter board and mobo, neither of which have fixed anything.
Checked the 5v line and it’s bang on - not dropping in power.
