Spamming???

Why is it when I try to reply to some posts I get some sort of message saying I cant post due to spamming? I tried tonight and only my first reply but was blocked!

The only time I get this on a site (including this one, I think) is when I manage to post more than once within a certain short time. This is to prevent spambots and the like ripping through a site, posting many times within seconds, I guess.

Ok I can understand that, but the post was about the asteroids cabinet. I stuck a few comments on days ago and nothing since. Tried to add one just now and got blocked?Why would that be? Had it before on odd occasions. Says I exceeded number of posts in time period.

WAIT.... Just noticed it did it ok, reckon my sh*tty old computer sent it twice... Feel like a right twit!

think thats the case. This thing is so slow to respond sometimes. Gonna save up and get a new one then launch this out the window!

I think it's about a minute between posts. It's a pain sometimes, when you want to quote people, but like you say it's a necessary evil to stop a swamping of the forum

I have issues posting off a iPad ,mainly when posting pics but I think it's the iPad and how it gives the pics the same photo Id
