Euro Spyhunter
This is the cab that near ended my love of arcade machines
Two looms ,3 pcbs ultra rare euro ones at that .3 monitors .couple of power supplies
board repairs by a couple members .i had to give one of them a break and move to another lol
A friend for hours on end for days helping me try and sort the loom in there
Days and days on my own messing with it .sometimes working ,sometimes not ,when it was working other faults coming about
No real schematics for this cab
I had one of these before .the only other I’ve saw .i bought his loom and boardset that had been to USA for repair .i also bought the power supply converter board and a switching power supply
After all that I’ve ended up maming it ,and couldn’t be happier with the results
It’s still got a nice 19inch crt ,
Nothings been hacked. Well apart from the spare loom .
There a nice loom in there now incase I ever go back to it lol
I imported this thing from Italy ,I really didn’t want to sell the one I had before .i also imported it from Italy ,though this time it was much more expensive.
Someone had put new art on it and it’s super clean .
Someone had also completely messed with the wiring
I thought when buying .at least there two boards with it .should be ok
I think there’s a thread on my other one on here somewhere when I had it .Its in the Republic of Ireland now
I love the shape of this version of Spyhunter small ,and easy to move .
Mame may not be for everyone ,but it’s working and reliable .Now I can start buying cabs again and go for a highscore on this one
