It looks like you'll need new ROMs and 1 PLD/GAL (provided you have the right SFII board).

Oh and you may have to learn a little French too.

WW can be converted (and even MASK ROM) well the B-11 C board version anyway, I have one here I was playing with that I couldn't source a B-11 C board for.

But it is not for the faint hearted, you need to understand how the board works and how the ROMs interact with each other as they need to go in a different order, be able to program PLD/GAL and Desolder and re-solder some components on the board.

I am not putting instructions here as it is only for the technical (and I am not doing it as it would be cheaper to buy an original). Converting it back also means re-doing the same process, so not easy.

For the more technical among us that want to have a go, look for the Quiz Tonosama no Yabou 2 conversion and you can easily adapt this to WW with a B-11 C Board (the difference is to move the soldered resistor jumpers from MASK ROM position to JEDEC ROM position).

Thank you all for your help I don't think I will risk damaging a perfectly working board after what has been said so I will have to stop being a cheap git and buy an orginal. Until then I guess it's back to the pc emulator version.

Thanks again guysoon really appreciate it.

Just one last question I have an Eprom on the board that is missing a sticker and you can see the circle window forgive me for being daft but am I right in saying that these are used to blast with UV light to erase the data? Would normal house hold light do that over time or will it be OK without the sticker?
