Canadian collector here, getting back into the hobby after a long break. I’ve recently picked up a Streets Defender cocktail and have been trying to learn a bit more about it.
Andy Welburn suggested I join UKVAC and mentioned something particularly interesting — around 1998/99 he recovered a small stack of NOS control panels for these Streets Defender cocktails from a London operator. They were later passed on and apparently ended up with owners of some of the surviving machines.
That sent me down a bit of a rabbit hole.
Does anyone here own a Streets Defender cocktail, remember those NOS panels changing hands, or possibly even have one of them?
My machine still has the original top artwork in very nice condition, but the control panels appear to have been changed at some point. Ultimately I'd love to document what the originals looked like well enough to reproduce them accurately, but for now I'm mainly hoping to find another machine or one of those panels.
Any memories, photos, old leads or “I know a guy who has one” would be greatly appreciated.
