A leisure company got in touch and asked me to look at a Defender cocktail cab and a Space Invaders board for a customer of theirs, I made a video of it and posted it recently.

In essence the board wasn't booting. Had 5 missing 4116 RAM's including two missing sockets (never a good sign). Then had stuck coin-door inputs thanks to a bad PIA on the ROM board and then the sound board wasn't working which turned out to be bad data lines from the CPU and then the PIA died during soak test. It's all running fine now and back in its machine..
The video is quite detailed about each step along the way. I didn't write a full log on this one as it was a time sensitive operation but took me on and off about 8 hours to complete.
At the time I didn't disclose what game it came from and Andy (U72) came over and spotted the machine and told me that's quite a rare to see cabinet so I thought i'd do a quick bonus video about it.

I don't know much about the streets company so it's mostly me being a bit daft and showing a few money shots of the cabinet but I thought you gents might like to see it.
I've not posted any repair logs for a little while but i've been working on quite a number of boards. Every one that comes through me gets a log recorded in our database. I'm working on a way to export this into a more forum friendly format.
