[ukvac] TECH: Missile Command to Jamma
I was wondering if anyone had any experience of wiring a Missile Command to
Jamma. I've just attempted to wire one up, but it appears to be completely
dead (I bought the board un-tested so it's probably got problems). There
are a few points I am not sure about:
1. There are several pinouts I am not sure how to connect on the board
+sense, -sense etc, +5V reg return etc.
2. There seems to be 3 different video syncs, one of which is inverted - any
idea which one to use for Jamma?
3. When I test the -5v test point I get -2.3V - my other boards don't have a
problem, maybe this board is pulling too much current?
Connecting a scope up to the 10, 7, 5Mhz test points gives no signal and
none of the processor legs gives a signal either - may be the oscillator is
dead? I can't find any schematics on spies which doesn't help my
diagnostics.
Any advice, pointers, schematics would be appreciate.
