[ukvac] Tech Time:Jamma RGB output to Scart
I believe Jamma outputs at around Video Level of around 2.2Vp-p, which when
connected to a Scart TV means the picture is sort of a bit bright, and the
colours sort of merge together, I believe the TV wants more like 0.7Vp-p,
just like VGA (meaning when I hook my VGA to my Arcade Monitor, the picture
is a bit dark), so I believe this will help make it so I can use Jamma
boards and PC VGA without ever having to change any colour controls!
Does anybody know what resistors are required for the Red, Green, Blue
inputs to take the Vp-p to a respectable level?
From old reference I have a Resistor that was used before (hard to read the
colour bands!), not sure if its correct.
Purple|Black|Brown |Gold
700 Ohm?? Who knows..
Correct Resistor information, is helpful.
Thanks
Andy
