I ate Chinese food for lunch in Helensburgh just yesterday, it's just up the road from me. The Ruby does a mean Salt & Pepper Chicken...

This looks like the first ever shame cab..!

Just looking through some more old mags and found another cab at home advert. Anyone remember the 'POWARCADE'? I have a vague recollection of this one too.

Ahh cool! Looks like it was based on the 19" Silverline design but minus coin mech etc. Also a slightly different shape at the top probably so you could squeeze a 19" tv in.

Yes I had a 20" or so Grundig TV in mine, problem was it was sat level with a big TV in and it hurt your neck. needed to tilt back a bit like the monitor in the flyer

I was going to start a discussion on the insane markup they had on those things, but then I noticed "Hammersmith 16 bit show".

I really miss those old computer game shows at wembley/novotel/earls court.
