Wow last post on this July 2012!

This is dead and buried really but last night I was going through another hard drive and found what I thought I had lost - and was kicking myself over it!

This is when Rav, P-man and I made our very first visit, and I did a video walk around of the ghost arcade.

Enjoy!

Wow - that must have been one hell of a feeling when you guys first walked in and realised the enormity of the find. Was it a creepy place? It feels like you're only missing night vision and Derek Acorah! Thanks for sharing the video

I can't remember who got the Boot Hill now - but it was saved - maybe it was Superully?

I saw the urban street art canvas - very cool! Nice to know she's still there.

It would be nice to have a kind of what happened next follow on the cabs that were scored in this big event, are they now living and breathing again, did some magically switch on and still all work fine. (with pics ofcourse!)

I haven't done anything with the three I had. I believe all the pinballs were fixed! Andyman fixed all his, Muerto got the Missile Command - maybe he can comment.

Yeah a 'where are they now' thread would be awesome.

It's the first time I have seen this thread, thanks for bringing it back to life, awesome story!!
I too would love to hear about where those machines are today, and how many of them still worked once removed from site.

- Atari Ultra tank is up and running. It's a great cab.

- Atari Asteroids I have replaced the heavily rusted control panel and had the PCB repaired (Pman thumbs up) but it has a minor monitor fault which I hope sort out soon. This asteroids is mint :)

- Atari splash is now Pmans but he wont pick it up so I am clocking up storage fees on it ;)

- Atari super breakout I fixed the monitor and now need the PCB fixed.

- Meadows Gipsy Juggler I have made tentative steps to getting the board fixed

- Alca Geebee - The PCB is now part of an Australian Video game museum. Has anyone got a spare PCB?

- Meadows lanes - I have removed 2 inches of pigeon sh*t from the control panel.

- Midway Gun fight is in the same state I picked it up in.

- Exidy side track has been cleaned but otherwise as I found it.

My focus will be:

1. Getting the Asteroids complete as it is in awesome condition.

2. Gypsy juggler I really really want to get up and running

3. Exidy side track I want this up and running.

But I also have I have some Non DOL cabs:

Atari pong I need to fix the pcb

Atari space race I managed to source a replacement control panel (Don't think unicorn horns are out of reach ;) )

AMI Continental 2 Jukebox which I have spent a fair bit of time on and it looks sweet! I am going to focus on this so I can play some tunes while fixing the other treasures :)

Matt Adams who is one of the Pinball collectors has produced a video which he's posted onto my new https://www.facebook.com/RetroLogistics page, posted on Wednesday.

This post also shows Olivers (Alpha1's) video of the walk around on board ship.

Matt's video tells the story of the ship, the raid and the Pinball 'fully working' in his games room, the pinball that was saved after 30 years.

Please like my page if you do actually like it.

Some of those artists are incredibly talented.

I really like the japanese ? woman in the back of the boat.

Not like the normal graffiti around these parts ....

My Dad has a video of us on holiday in the USA around 1987 and we're in the Holiday Inn on International Drive, Florida. They had an awesome indoor arcade and he's filming me playing on the games. I really really need to find that VHS tape and rip it.

I stayed there in 95 and spent an awful lot of time in that arcade! still been meaning to find a saturn copy of die hard arcade ever since!
