Quit yer moaning!!! Gorgeous weather. I'm quite sure it'll all be over in days so I'm really, really not complaining! Besides, I spent most of yesterday - the hottest so far - in an air conditioned car

I've had to dig my tower fan out of the attic for the first time in years. The heat's not so bad though, it's being in the sun like a piece of bacon I can't stand.

Bring on the cold weather and big coats again.

You dont know the meaning of heat lol. Sittng in Turkey where it has been a "mild" 36 degrees all weeK. Mild that is in comparasin to my place of work which has been 45 - 49 degrees all week
Saving grace is that there is no outside work when it gets above 50 C.

It is surprising how quickly the body adjusts. There is something surreal about sitting in a 40 degree heat with a coffee at night thinking to yourself that it is "just nice".

Similarly when I landed at Glasgow 2 weeks ago I was shivering in the June sunshine.
