Hi guys, I'm looking for a bit of an opinion pole here.
I'm new to MVS and I'm throwing down some cash each month to pick up a game (hence 12 and not ten).
I'm not saying this has to be a top 12 games ever, more of a must have in your collection for MVS titles.
What do you consider must haves for my 2017 MVS journey?

Collection so far:

January: Metal Slug 2
February: Puzzle Bobble

PM me if you have doubles for sale :)OTTOTHEMADANDEVIL2017-02-09 23:34:01

I would say some of my must haves are:

Blazing star
Pulstar
Last resort
Kof 98
Last blade 2
Real bout special
Mutation nation
Sengoku 3
Metal Slug 1/2/3/x (anyone of those is a winner in my eyes)
Samurai showdown 3 (could easily be samsho2 though)
Puzzle bobble
Windjammers

I tried to put one of each particular series, but it's difficult narrowing down the choices

Very tough question. I'm currently pruning my MVS collection but have decided to hang on to the following MVS carts:

Fatal Fury Special

King of Fighters 95

Gan Gan

Money Puzzle Exchanger

Zupapa!

Nam 1975

Magician Lord

Shock Troopers

It's probably worth looking into getting a Neo SD multicart at this point. MVS collecting is getting ridiculously expensive.

Street Hoop is definitely on the 2017 list!

Back in the midst of the 16bit era me and my mates were always playing NBA Jam T.E on the megadrive. I recently tried getting back in to it again, but found that I much prefer street hoop on the neo geo

Just get one of the better X-in-1 multi carts - Sorted.

My 12 - Just because I own them....

Nightmare in the dark

Blazing Star

Puzzle Bobble 2 (Taito F3 version is better)

Neo Mr do

Neo Bomberman

Metal Slug-X

Waku Waku 7

Garou Mark of the wolves

Pulsar

Money Puzzle Exchanger

Twinkle Star Sprites

Aero fighters 2.

But I could go on & on - trouble is some of those carts are now £100+ (if you can find one for sale).

Might be worth saving your cash and getting one of Darksofts Multi-MVS carts when he releases it - think along the lines of an Everdrive for MVS & AES. I can't wait!
