This is a cool bit of sci-fi geek I saw on New Scientist earlier - a computer simulation of what travelling through a wormhole would look like (if it was possible and survivable with current technology anyway!).

The bit that concerns me is that bit about an 'infinitely energetic flash of light' - I'm guessing that would require some fairly decent eye protection
In another article recently they said some new theories have brought this
stuff a step closer to being possible one day - but I reckon it's still at least a few centuries (millenia?) away from
being a realistic possibility. Would be cool though.
