The legs had some surface rust so I was interested how good they were going to look... I picked this lot up Friday...

They've done a really awesome job on that!

(Sadly, I still think the chrome on the LE looks gopping - but each to his own of course

Man I played a Tron LE at NERG and I loved the chrome

I love the interactive apron - can't wait to get that installed. The Tron Pro supports it in the code so there's no mod to do other than plug it into the main board!

Forgot to say - they also do black chrome. I am thinking this will be a great mod for a pinball that has dull black armour - should look very nice.

They are going to make me small samples 'plates' of all the metal finishes they do, as well as the powder coating they can do.

They do work for custom bikes so have loads of candy apple paints in stock for high end powder coating, polishing and then clear coating.

Ever thought of adding these. Got a set of the raw armour (Rails and Hinges) spare. I have got mine chromed as per the picture and just ordered the EL panels.

Cheers Tony

Nice! I'm just going for the stock LE look though. Spent enough as it is!!!

I sure about that, I think the pin alone is to much for me.
What means LE? Limited Edition?

I've had my Tron for about a month now and have started looking into mods. If your machine came 'stock' like mine you can drop a grand into it EASILY.

I'm picking up some Mirrorblades this evening. I've also got some LED's making their way to me from Comet Pinball in the states and the Mini Tron Arcade machine mod.

Now I'm just trying to build up the courage to order the Eli ramp kit. It's certainly a lot of money! - and the wife knows it!

Whilst I appreciate the time initially that goes into the designing of some of these mods they must make a heck of a good profit on them if they are successful (which most of the time they are) Being in the UK you have to consider those pesky import fees too

The only mod I'm not too fussed about are the Hallmark Cycles. But knowing me I'll end up buying them...and the chrome pop bumper caps

Annoyingly though, those Eli ramp fibres are by far the best value mod for a Tron Pro.

Mind you, I also enjoyed adding my own light mod to the recogniser - that only took an hour and an old LED.

I dunno about those ramp kits. On all the videos I've seen of them there's so much damn bling on the machine it hurts my eyes. The dynamic of the table is completely different to how it arrives. Everything is just a sea of blue. Don't get me wrong, blue is good, but not ALL blue!!

All I've got it is a cliffy ramp protector (thanks Oll, really must get round to fitting it!) and the luminous plastic protectors (now they're cool!). I did manage to get one of the hallmark light cycles but I was never able to find the other. I'm not that fussed about mods anyway.

More importantly, I should get round to getting some LEDs in. Particularly for my DE Star Wars as that has quite a bad hum problem that should go away with LEDs.
