Noticed something wrong with it.

On the home page it states everyones forum names as their private first name. Rather than user/forum name.

Is it supposed to be like that?

Yes it's supposed to be like that. We're just trying to limit the ease by which bad people can suss out some valid userid's to avoid a script kiddie dictionary attack. Obviously you can glean some of this info from the forum itself without logging on, it's just trying to keep the opportunitys down.
