Just spent the evening wiring the broken Pac-Man (PCB fault) to Jamma. This means we can play the 10pence podcast game of the month, Anteater.

Arcade starts at 11am – I was referring to the hotel check-in time 🤘👍

Just wanted to make it clear that we don't have Final Furlong at Pixel Busters. Before the memes overtake the thread.

i was offered one from Bristol arcade few weeks back --- you just supply the girls with their busters !

Here's a map of where we are guys.
Postcode is ST1 6AZ which will get you in the area. The estate is just down a little street off the main road. There is a vape Shop on the corner after little Tesco. If you are coming from the south then it will probably be on your left. North it will be on your right.

Watch out for the massive pothole just as you turn in off the main road.

Park in anywhere you can on the estate past the blue gates. It should be fairly quiet after 11am. If you arrive early there might be a lot of cars for people at the gyms. Don't park your car on the residential estate. It is a permit controlled area. If the carpark is completely full then you can park are the central forest carpark for an hour or so then move your car back later.

Anymore questions I'll try to answer but I'll be getting the arcade up and running soon so will be fairly busy.

Well that was a bit different … quite nice to get back on my bycyle not forgetting how to play …. But realise why I didn’t spend too much time playing some 4 decades ago!!!! Some nice presented cabs and a couple I had never seen (anteater for one?) in my 50 years of owning many games…. Bit of a busman’s holiday so to speak.. but a few good chats putting faces to names off the forum..

I am sure James and Dave R were glad of my half a century machine logistics advice fitting 2 cabs into a medium transit ( too wide or unstackable for height) on its way to Devon….
First “It’s certainly not gonna fit” they thought? then the ratchet strap was overloaded on its jammed bobbin… So 69er arrives and explains the solution and in they ‘flew in’, strapped with space for a monitor too at the rear…
Happy to help , not physically but another West Bromwich newbie also lent some muscle (mark?) thankfully . I’m too old to load vans !

Left around 4pm as wife and daughter returned from their let loose for the day shopping spree in Hanley …. But well worth seeing and meeting a few other vac’ers.

I arrived home at 10pm, I snook out at 3pm and it would have been much better if there were not 'exploding a bridge' on the M5 and I may have got in a little earlier. @69er and Norman ? i am not fan of usernames and ur badges i couldn't read ur names.. . I want to thank you both for helping me and james complete the impossible, I was under the impression that the 'small cabinet' was indeed small, I measured my SCI and thought it be okay as I raise the cabs. They are now stored away waiting their fate.

I met up with 4-5 inside, great to chat to the owners and to see how they got on. I will say this, its Tiny. I worked at Insanity Newton Abbot and I called that Tiny but this place is indeed Tiny, but what it does have is character, the cinema bit, the small rooms, the blockbuster bit, good selection of playable games and getting stuck in Pole Position is not fun. Ssdly I was unable to stay for too long, I have to be back in Devon and its a long drive. I hope there is a picture of all the people later on, maybe we can photoshop our heads in somehow
