Does anyone have one of these boards here

It shows it has a VGA input and output, and the ability to change the image size and position, but doesnt state whether those controls work with VGA input and to what degree?

If someone does have one are they able to test for me?

Perfect, so I will be able to reduce the input VGA image by approx 30% ( essentially creating a black border ) without any issues ?

I do t suppose if you get time you could see what kind of reduction you can do ? I don't want to order one if its only a very minor adjustment. It's cool if you don't have time though

You can only switch to the following resolutions in display menu : 640x480 ; 800x600 ; 1024x768 and at last 1360x768.

Pressing down button auto adjusts to fit to your screen. Sometimes you get a black border, but you can adjust it manually as you want to fit to the screen size.

I just got one of these the other day, but it didn't come with any info on how to wire up the two sets of wires that come with it.

One looks like its for power in, the other?

the other is the 10 pin RGB input cable

i dont botehr using that with JAmma

most chinese jamma looms come with a 6 pin connector that plugs into the larger 6 pins on the board

Thanks so it only need the power, I dont remember seeing any markings is it 5v or 12v?

plug it to the 5V line via the Jamma PSU

works fine in 5V

its actually 3.3V, but the black regulator near the power point handles that so 5v is perfect as 12V will over heat it and lower its life span

Ordered 2 different boards from Amazon with intention of returning one if it didnt work. But the Geometry menu is not accessable on either with a VGA input?

You can access to geometry menu, which displays :
H position

V position

H size

V size

Clamp st

Clamp sp

Btw, you have 2 kind of these boards, one providing only one VGA output, and another with 2 VGA outputs. The last one is called CGA/EGA/YUV to 2VGA.

I can get the menu to load up, but only if I change off of the VGA connection and use the RGBS input (which i believe is the input from the jamma loom rather than a vga input)

I use the latest board CGA/EGA/YUV to 2VGA, and even if I use the VGA input, I can access to the menu, displayed in pressing right button.

In fact, as my cab is JVS, I use JAMMA2JVS (River Service one) to rely my JAMMA boards to it, then I link a VGA wire between JAMMA2JVS output and VGA input of CGA/EGA/YUV to 2VGA board, then I put another VGA wire from the output of the video converter board to my cab.

Ok, I must be missing something I've tried 3 different boards now ( including a 2vga ) and all have the same issue. I connect VGA to the Pandora box to the VGA input on the converter board. I connect a VGA output to the converter board to the VGA input on my monitor. If I go into the menu I cannot get into Geometr menu. If I connect the video out from the jamma to the converter board I can, but this reduces the picture quality
