Here I have this problem with an Nintendo Vs. game. MDS-04-CPU. Excitebk romset I can coin up the game just fine but the P1 or P2 start don't work. Neither are the up or down buttons. The board is working fine with super mario bros roms or battle city. I do have anther romset for a differen PPU and this one lets me start the game. The roms 6C and 6D from this romset does not match any mame romsets.
Anybody has any ideea what is going on? I did try the roms on other board and same issue. Is my working romset patched or something? The eproms are on the right side (6A-6D 8A 8B)
