hear you on that (y)

I know nothing about the PC Engine, so they were all import from what I understand, there was a shop in Haymarket Leicester that sold Consoles/games in the 80's and remember seeing them in there, the white original ones. forget the name of the shop though, I suspect they were close to £200

What's difference between the Original PC Engine, Core Grafx and Core grafx II ?
There was a shop just up from ST Margarets bus station, think it was called Mayes or something that sold lots of stuff. Most of the atari st stuff was borrowed from there before being ripped and put back !

I have a fair few in the loft but I always have the BBC Micro set up with a Microvitec monitor as I still play this a fair bit, where it got its head kicked in by the C64 the games by Acornsoft were some pretty good arcade conversions and I haven played a better version of Chuckie Egg and Elite was a game changer.

My claim to shame is I actually like JCB digger,

Have the double disc drives and the official Acorn cassette player along with a few boxes of games but everything I play is now on an SD card but I do miss the Chain"" , loading and the inevitable "bad program" when it cocked up.

I used to buy C15 tapes from John Menzies and put a game on each side as I couldn't cope with a c90 with games you could never find the start of or when it chewed the tape you lost the lot, I also used to change the loading screens to include my name and a little logo I thought was cool , I always wondered how many copies forward they went and if anyone though "which knob changed that?" when they saw it.

there was 2 May's shops, Electrical with Hi-Fi etc and they were Panasonic/Technics Dealers and Computer Centre, was in that quite a bit

Looks like the Computer one was a bit of everything before the boom as this says it was 1981

I currently have the following 8bit systems:
- Master System I and II
- Sega SG 1000 II
- Amstrad CPC464

My missus also has an NES which was her brother's. It seems to have a graphical issue at present as when hooked up to a tv it doesn't show any image properly. I'd like to get it repaired at some point.
