WTF Cheers you up rant

[Venom]

After the previous post. All the crap that pisses you off , but what pleasures including guilty ones cheer you up.

What cheers you up.

• Sitting in pub with work friends moaning about work to each other is my top thing that cheers me up !
• Sitting in my car on the downs eating chips as the healthy joggers go by
• Watching the driver on the bus , see the person coming then driving off before they make it.
• Any cyclist by the side of the road with a puncture
• The knowledge that I find younger people at either bus stops or supermarkets less rude than older people.
• Presentations that no longer seem to have older white men as IT workers anymore.
• How certain celebrity presenters keep getting more work, when they have limited talent.
• Waving at speed camera people.
• People with plastic faces thinking they look gorgeous.
• Guilty pleasure: porkies, revenge of the nerds , eurotrip. I was asked when I would grow out of them, NEVER.
• Films: Goonies, predator, lethal weapon
• Reading: Starburst Magazine.
• Playing R-type even though never completed it
• People who are polite on calls and say line is crakily when really they cant understand the accent a lot of the time.

The way I feel at the moment nothing is really cheering me up , But normally its :-

1) Having a few beers or a rum
2) Brewing my own beers and enjoying them
3) Darts !!!
4) Model Railways , Building painting watching them ect
5) Farting and getting away with not filling my socks !
6) Buying something on ebay that is 2 weeks old and half the price (with a receipt so you get 12 months warranty) as the original (Yes I said it EBAY !)
7) Getting to the chippy just as its closing so they throw some freemans in for you.
8) When I have fixed a PCB , The relief and delight !
9) Helping other people if I can ( Awww bless )
10) Making people at work laugh , Well I am ' Morale officer '

What pisses me off :-

1) Everything else not listed above.

i can deffo add to this

• People tripping over kerbs or raised flags and pretending like it didn't happen, but i spotted them
• People in flash cars who have broken down on the motorway
• People moaning in restaurants like they are in a michelin star 3 complaining that the chips weren't 3 times cooked(yes, this has happened, same couple also complained the sausages were not Italian, it was hilarious and we had a right laugh with the serving staff afterwards)
• People going out on lunch and the rain has started while they were out, came back in like a drowned rat
• Selling stuff on ebay for extortionate prices
• My dogs

i am a recent rum fan, but i only like flavoured rum, so i may be on the opposite list, Kraken Coffee Rum is just divine, 3 bottles arrived yesterday, should keep me sorted till next weekend

A couple of mine :-



I always have at least 4 different one. The ones in decanters are Captain Morgan spiced and Sailor Jerry spiced. I only do spiced now adays although I will drink normal rum. Others I like is Duo & Kraken.

First time I have tried the Morgan Black spiced and its very very nice, Has a sort of cherry taste to it. Not tried the coffee one.

you cant really get it over here, or you couldn't, but if you like flavoured rum i highly recommend Brinley Gold, it is very smooth, much like Kraken

Dude be careful , once you have spiced rum you dont go back !

Don papa is nearly £40 but well worth it. Depends on your taste. Morgan black spiced is close and cheaper. I love captain morgan spiced as cheap and tastes great too. You can get it for £19 for a ltr.

Check all super markets , morrisons normally good if you have a more card. Others are same , i check them all for offers.

The captain morgan one , Both very good. Personally I would go for Captain Morgan Black Spiced , But that my opinion and my taste. Very sweet that one. I have it with Diet coke.
