My xevious up and running
Monitor has had a full going over and board repaired .
Still a few things to do ,get the marquee working and another bit of cleaning
Il add some better pics when it's all finished

Thanks guys .good to get it all back together again .
The monitor is super sharp after gunblade sorting it
And the original pcb is sorted thanks to another clever member
I was actually really surprised at how good it looked .
It must of looked stunning in 1982 !

And gunblade fixed the monitor
So you can say it's been well and truelly uk vac'd

I've got the cp light working ,it looks great and different
Just the marquee one to sort
I've only had a few games so far ,got past the first boss but not much further

I don't ever remember seeing one of these in arcade ,this is first I remember seeing
Has many more members got them ?

It's great to power on machines and see them working for first time in ages, yeah pretty cool looking cab

Like to see some pics of it in the dark when all the lights sorted

Just working on a machine myself, after being in bits for nearly 3 years i think, Just powered it up to see it work for the first time since, so good to see, few bits left to do before the resto thread

There it was ,and in the space of taking a photo there it is now !
Apart from the screen burn which can be seen in photo ,there's just dark dark blue on monitor
Think I jinxed myself .

This hobby really can hurt you .
After having all the stuff in my main games room /garage working a while ago t
I was down to just one working ,a week or so ago
I then fixed a pinball ,my pole position was fixed and xevious
Now the working pin has failed again and this xevious .

Hope you fix it again soon, great cab. Funnily enough I was looking at the Xevious at the Computing History museum this evening and it's equally on the blink!

It's not playing blind ,so there must be a power supply issue .
I hope it hasn't taken the board out too .

There was on this one, the fuse holders were all a bit ropey. Poking them a bit got it to boot but there were other board issues I think.
