I have now updated the Power Drift adapter to provide a 1:1 connector layout, the Gerber files are in the 'Build' pack on my website, all original PCB connections are now correctly placed for the adapter. If you make one for use with a CE PCB you will also need add a 'jumper' video cable between the CE PCB and the adapter.

I have new, pre-assembled PCB's and adapters ready for shipping if you are interested, send me a pm or email for more info.

I'm wondering if SmartyPI would be best for me?

I haven't got the controls on my OutRun hooked up to a PC or APAC because I don't know the condition of the original wiring loom.
I have the steering wheel, pedals, start button and gear shifter but I don't want to enable the shaker because I don't have a working original PSU and rectifiers.

Is there documentation or reproduction wiring looms with a safe/easy to use power supply that I could use?

Mine was one of the early prototype run I think, I'm ashamed to say it's still in the box after all these years, as the monitor blew out on my cab and life has kept me from ever fixing things, I suspect it's going to need quite the update by the time I plug it in. :ROFLMAO:

Well @Bensonrad I'm sure it will boot up - Yes you did get in with the early PCB version - Latest software is available on the smartypi website, I'll help if/when needed. Do you still have the cab? I remember the monitor blew just as you picked the board up.
I just checked my notes. You had PCB number 17 and boards 1-10 were my testers, so yes you did get in early.

Stop slacking and get it running :D

@smarty I do still have my cab, the only one left as the rest were sadly sold to cover divorce and house costs. I am keen to get it running, then I can offload my pile of Outrun PCBs taking up valuable space in my wardrobe. haha. My neighbour was joking I should bring the cab into my house, but there is no way the kids would tolerate it in the lounge. I look forward to getting it up and running.
