Last couple of purchases have been dire for me.

Bought a RTX 3050 from Amazon warehouse for a PC I built my niece, reset the whole PC under load, happened on multiple PC's. Sent back for a refund which was processed promptly.

I bought an i7 CPU earlier in the week, ordered a 13700KF and today received a 12600KF. There was a picking/warehouse sticker for 13700KF on the box, the actual CPU box was an unopened 12600KF. It hadn't been tampered with or opened so I assume it was a mistake?

Whatever the case, I'm not impressed.
Anyone else had any issues with Amazon recently?

I bought a mini i5 PC a while back and they sent me the cheaper Ryzen one by mistake. Easy, no-quibble returns, though. I buy a lot from Amazon, so only realistic to expect an occasional mistake.

I'd be a bit wary of buying electronics from Warehouse, as obviously they're not new items, and there's no telling what the story behind why they were returned is.

I buy pretty much everything from Amazon except for the weekly shop and clothes - never had any problems whatsoever. Given their volume it would be incredible if mistakes never happened, and I would imagine Jeff Bezos wouldn't quibble when you try to return something.

They've put adverts on Prime Video, which is quite a roll downhill imo
It's also rare, these days, that 'next day' delivery means next day where I live. 2 or more likely 3 days is more common.
NGL Amazon is still convenient, and usually cheap, but I'll prolly ditch Prime when my subscription is up

I think Amazon is going downhill.
We’ve just had a delivery from Amazon, a landline phone.

This is exactly how it arrived, no shipping packaging at all, just an address sticker on stuck on top of the box. It was simply left on our doorstep.

The driver couldn’t even be bothered to ring our doorbell or knock on the door.
Our front door is approximately 1 meter away from the public footpath so it could of easily been stolen.

I certainly would not be buying high value items Amazon.

I bought a couple of Asus Xt12 routers a year ago and which have been giving me grief with constant resets recently. Quick call, no quibble £600 refund.

To be honest I fucking love amazon

I don’t love them but on a daily basis I buy from iPads, iMacs, CD’s to 100Kg water softener salt, and everything in between.

They have the lot and most comes next day.

Would be happy to buy from somewhere else but don’t really see any competition.

everytime the delivery driver does what someone above has said, ie. left it behind my bin etc etc, i seem to have that item stolen, the 2 most expensive items were a £80 dog pen and a LEGO set worth £130

its funny since i "didnt" get those, they always make sure they knock now and hand me my parcel, everyones a winner these days

Today I have bought a car boot protector so I don’t mess my car up going to the dump, a 5m cat8 Ethernet cable, and a 30m expandable garden hose - the first two items aren’t available anywhere I can think of nearby and the nearest place selling a hose was still a 10 mile round trip and twice as expensive.
I can see why Amazon are taking over the world, convenience and price are a massive draw.
