I’m adding a high score save
To my bomb Jack, ( trying to )

I have the M48z02 Upgraded back up Ram fitted .

Down loaded the Jrok file
With is a .bin file Not a rom ?

Do I need to extract a rom file
From this .bin ?


Anyways when I load the .bin file into my programmer bufffer shows it fine ..
I burn it and programmer fails to verify it.?

I fitted and yeh games corrupted.

Any one know if I need to extract the bin file first ?

Anyone have a copy of the Jrok bomb Jack high score file thet know works ,

I slowed my write speed down and it wrote and verified and is good,

But the ram I used is not ,
With normal ram IMG_4244.jpeg
Updated high score Jrok rom file runs fine ,
But New ram is corrupting game ?image.jpg
Jrok recommends this ram . So I’m not sure what’s occurring ?

I will used the Dallas one now (
Should have just gone with it in the first place !)

I looked back over this
And you can get 2 ver. Of the
St type non volatile sram
M48z02
One is M48z02-12
The other is M48z02-70pci
I bought the later .
And all the data sheets of the
M48z02-70 I can find refer to the -12 being a direct compatiblity for the Dallas and do not even mention the -70pci type ?
Which is weird to me as this is the data sheet for the -70pci
And it waffles on about the-12
Anyways live and learn orderd the Dallas I knew I should have orderd the Dallas to begin with.
