The seller sold this as good condition. Damaged and mouldy cover. Good condition?? Listing only had 1 picture of the front cover and cartridge. Looked ok from the front. No mention of the damage. Why do sellers do this? It's going back for a refund...

Good could be taken to mean everything is there, and it's working.

Is there a condition rating below "good", but above "for parts"?

The "good" condition refers to all aspects of the item being sold. The next one down is satisfactory, then poor I think.

For this item, nobody in their right mind would describe the case and mouldy/creased/damaged cover as being good condition. Poor condition. Cartridge is in good condition.

For £8 I can do better. The case and cover are not savalagble. It's going back for a refund. Seller's need to be honest. Add more pics. Is it worth getting negative feedback for lying and wasting a buyers time having to return this?

Plenty of sellers that will take pictures from all angles except mysteriously omit one obvious angle - like say showing the lid on a playstation 1.

You can almost guarantee there will be an issue, usually a huge scratch.

Also quite a few sellers listing things as brand new, but if you actually have the item yourself to compare you can tell it's been used as the packaging is missing certain small labels. Recently I've seen a few controllers put back in the original boxes, but wear marks visible or the cords tangled, in which case it's more Like New, not brand new.
