It depends what the Sound Card is set too, without running programme for the card you don't know what they are but could just try it on 7 and see then 5
It’s set to irq10 as it’s like this in the .bak and .bat
Só most likely same in config.sys ?

Só I could try switch of Crystal sound and enable irQ 10 ?

My autoexc.bat file In root of my hard drive does not match
What my system says it is on boot up ?

Here is my autoexc in note pad

Here is my start up

It’s the opposite to what I have done and it’s the same as .bak file ..

Só is it using the .bak and not the .bat ?

Enable file extension display in win - notepad is just saying 'autoexec' and not telling you whether it's the BAK or BAT version.

Out of curiosity, what's the attraction on using an old version of MAME on an old PC?
I was thinking it's likely way less accurate than the modern version and you won't get things like HLSL.

Looks , sounds and feels great.

I have put an i5 in in its place but this just seemed perfect for a cocktail cab and the sound blaster sounds Awsome ..
Screen Rez is very nice ..
Just feels spot on !

Too new for Jumpers, it's software based so needs Soundblaster software to check or set it up like SBAUDIOSetupus.exe or something, thats what a CT4810 has in the software folder
Só where can I go to run cmd script ?

I can go to dos shell in arcadeos and it brings me to win 90 with cmd prompt ?
Can I run like
Sb16/diagnose from win 98 cmd prompt ?

I use it because there's no flashy frontend, fast booting, and a more authentic arcade feel. Plus I only tend to play the older games from the late 70s to 85-ish.

Do you have a DOS SB utility that will give you the settings? Have you disabled the parallel port in BIOS?

Look my autoexec.bat

Don’t say irQ 10 in my file
Look at pic
image.jpg
It’s irQ 5

But when I run it
It says irq10 ?
What’s going on ?
It’s using another autoexec.bat
Somewhere els ?

I have sb16/ config
With autoexec.
Here

This looks like this
image.jpg

Here is boot script
With irq10
IMG_4610.jpeg
Notice it’s opposite to my rem & set config ?

Been bloody years, but autoexec.bat needs to in the root directory doesn't it? Screenshot seems to show it buried in some sub dir.
