Dos mame , sound blaster issue

I have live amplified static coming from the sound card ..
Só it is on ..
It Só like it’s just not getting the sounds from mame directed to it ?

Why are you breaking out of autoexec.bat like this? It means the path command hasn't been set. Can't you exit ArcadeOS back to DOS?

I mean, if you just let it boot, you end up with arcadeOS running, right? Can't you then just exit arcadeOS back to the dos command prompt somehow? I've never used arcadeOS so don't know.

Looks as though you don't have the ATTRIB command, can you get to C:\ and type in DIR/W <return> and look for a folder called DOS or anything similar, post a pic.

CD.. That's CD with two dots. You will need to add something like 'CD C:\' as the last line of your autoexec to return the machine back to the C: prompt after exiting AOS.

cd\ takes you back to base directory , autoexec.bat and config.sys needs to go in the main directory (Always C: ) as stated in previous posts.

All are disabled .
But I’m reading that these are DMA .
Set blaster=a220, irQ 5, D1 ,H5, p330, T6

H5 being the high 16 bit dma ( DRQ )
Só I need to use irQ 5
And I need to enable DRQ 5 ?
Is this correct ?

That's just the power saving settings, make sure the IRQ and DMA are set as the pics I sent earlier. (PnP./ISA I think - plug and play, industry standard architecture)

I have to set oporations mode extended because this is the only setting that lets me set DMA to 1

I cannot find option in my bios to set the irQ to pnp/isa ?
