Hi, present on this forum for some time, more to search for information and parts than to share my restorations, I will post here that of my Galaxy Force II DX. I started in 2011 after its acquisition and, after years of abandonment for other WIPs, I restarted 2 months ago.

Here it is when I received it by carrier.

And here the WIP from the beginning.

To be continued :)

I had the game as a kid on Master System, loved playing it back then.

I think Ive only ever seen this cab type once in person and randomly that was in 2002 in a ski resort hotel games room in Bulgaria.

Saw the bigger version at Galloping Ghost last October but didnt get round to playing it, not sure if it was working at the time.

Played it Blackpool in '89 I think, was amazing to see and play, got the same feeling a few years later with Starblade (full size)

La suite (in french) :)

I took care of the AC Unit :

I reinserted the power cord, switch, 8A fuse and ground.

I had a plate redone to cover the Card System and I positioned the future Video/Sync output connectors.

The Audio plate will come next when I receive it.

To be continued :)

Hi Stokers and thank you.
I've never played it outside of a console either.
La suite ...
I'm going back to the plate that covers the "Card System" entry.

A member of the forum Gamoover offered to remake it for me and, in addition, to engrave whatever I wanted on one side.
He can do engraving, printing on all materials, and cutting. His website is here.

This plate has no reference to the Galaxy Force. So I used the one from the After Burner DX, which has the Sega reference KR-2043.
Having done a lot of WIP on Gamoover, I asked him to put the site's logo as well as my avatar.

Here is the result :

I quickly put it down :)

This will be the only small personal touch on this restoration.

All I need now is the Ext. audio board to complete the AC Unit.

To be continued :)
