Anyone got any experience with these things?
https://amzn.eu/d/56yK7Ji

I've always just used a vice, but it's always a bit hit and miss. Just placed an order for connectors, cables and sockets and figured it was time I got a real crimper. I eventually managed to find one that gives the specs and it says that it can handle connectors "up to 55mm" and 50way, which is what we're mostly going to be interested in are 67mm (ish). I'm wondering if they'd fit and work anyway? Anyone know for sure?

PS: I'm quite sure they're cheap crap compared to something for £100's from RS or wherever, but so is my vice.

These look identical to the RS PRO version, 266-8214

The vice method works, but harder for headers...

Goddamn they're cheeky buggers!! You're right, they're identical and I saw them for sub £4 earlier on Ali-Express. Admittedly with about the same again in shipping but all the same, not sure how they can charge £27.16 and call them "Pro" :ROFLMAO:

Given general consensus seems to be on the vice, I'll save my money and stick to that.

Saying that though, I just ordered the £11.20 one from Amazon!
