the lego community is absolute ass cancer, so many people just buying stuff to sell on for a profit knowing they only release limited edition sets, its partly on lego that problem for doing thatAs others have said just buy stuff you love and then it matters not what the prices do.
The fact you can even get half your money back for something after enjoying it is probably a more realistic approach,.
I was in a department store and people were discussing which lego to buy as a gift, and part of the decision was how much it might be worth in future...so sad.
I will admit that I tried Lego investment two years. Ended up losing money. Not sure it's possible any more. And I would credit Lego in making so many they are easily available for retail price.the lego community is absolute ass cancer, so many people just buying stuff to sell on for a profit knowing they only release limited edition sets, its partly on lego that problem for doing that
ive managed to pick up about 8 modular sets and never paid more than the retail price for any of them, but the older sets can for astronomical prices if people just keep them in a box and dont open them, better ways to invest money and enjoy your life
It's more of a thing than you'd want to know 🤮Lego? What the bricks that lock together, is that still a thing.
