Also remember with this new pcb, there are many additions over an original

- Standard Jamma connection with labelled pins
- Built in audio section to output through jamma standard
- @Philmurrs high score save built in for optional population
- Reduction of ics
- Custom colour palette set options (halloween/xmas etc)
- All new quality parts, fully plate through no smd.
- Every ic socketed for easy replacement in future

and more things i probably forgot!

I'm sold, I'll take one.

Yes that would have been nice. If we find any other tweaks that could benefit later i will try to include them.

Starting to create assembly information. I will be providing documentation for the section layout of the board and what chips are needed for each etc. Assembled boards will come with just sockets so you get your own chips to put in etc.

Rev2 pcb assembly descreates completed. Now to move on to the ics

Update! Back working on my mr do boards. Rev2 board is now populated and working. All changes from Rev1 confirmed as ok, but had an issue that was added to the rev2 board by mistake in trying to neaten up things along with a missing trace on the design somehow. Now resolved. Rev3 to come ha. Working on testing the high score save section now

Had a tricky year with some personal stuff hence the delay, but now back on with it

Not 100% sure, would need to look into it more. Have only been concerned with mr do itself so far.

Quite different, I did look into a multi at one point but Mr.Do has very different hardware.

Another tick on the developments. Phil's high score kit add-on is now working lovely here to. We had to adjust a few things as this kit add-on sits directly on the system bus. So thanks to Phil we can now save name and scores

Shame about the hardware being very different to JJ, but this is still incredibly cool...

Ok, finishing up a couple of minor things. Had a bad new ti hct74 causing a screen flicker, solved. Adjusting a few parts for the amp section possibly, then on to rev3 board production! Going to get some assembled and see how we get on. cross your fingers everyone haha

layout so far, all the parts are in, some dont render on here like the decoupling caps, but you get the idea All sockets are the spring type and the amp is mounted flush to board.
