For several months now, I've been trying to restore the original designs for the MVS cartridge stickers. My intention is to do a faithful digital restoration, without adding anything or redoing anything from scratch. It's the original as it is! (This is something I do in all my restorations, where I do correct all kinds of silkscreen errors.)
Example:
"Ganryu MVS Cartridge Label Sticker" (SNK) eng. ver. arcade file restored in Zona Arcade by Mikonos.
For printing, I choose to print with the original material or with matte or glossy adhesive polyester, which gives the sticker almost infinite durability. The adhesive on this material barely degrades, and it can be washed with water (and glued too) since it's plastic. It never yellows, and it's not possible to tear it with your hands, just scissors. It's also the same thickness as a paper sticker.
What I'm showing you is the restoration and digital printing of plastic material, polyester sheets, but in this case I've chosen to have a glossy finish.

Details in "CPS2 Game Board - Hispanic S.A. Region Sticker" (CAPCOM) spa. ver. printed on semi-plastic coated adhesive polyester with precut (photo 4).
In the case of the MVS cartridge label stickers, the best option would be to print on matte polyester, as it closely resembles adhesive paper, if you opt for that material.
I'm always looking for excuses to restore new pieces of arcade and pinball art. Tell me which label you'd like me to restore, and I'll do it for free. I'll email you the printing and shipping costs:
