Ironically, I think that it's not towns, but the countryside that would benefit MOST from one-way ... anyway ... yeah. Luckily I didn't drive that far into town. 😏
Quite separately, next time I buy liquor for the group, I will take a poll online about what folks will actually take off the table. 🥃
... but even so, I'd probably reserve the 'h' word for more serious grievances, myself.

Long drive was well worth it! It was great to meet who ever i spoke to, Great collection i love the feel of the place gave me proper old school arcade feels looking forward to visting again

Firstly, it was very nice of you to buy hard liquor for the group Elliot. I hadn't realised that you had bought for others too. Perhaps I could have worked that out from the 4 (60p) tumblers your invested in and the 2 x 1ltr bottles of whisky. I didn't want to be judgemental and assumed that with 2 bottle of WKD and 2 bottles of Whisky, you were a raving alcoholic with a decent stash for the night ;-)
Secondly, a clue regarding which liquor to bring can be found in the Live episodes of "Al's Arcade" one for you here: Al's Arcade Halloween live Regular viewers will observe that 3 hours of live streaming is powered by Electricity, Rum and Cream Cakes

Shame to have missed this. Enjoyed last year, but was away during this year’s effort.

Sorry to be late to the thread.
What can I say, it was absolutely fantastic! What a lovely bunch of guys you all are, I really mean that. I’ve been in many hobbies but this is far the best and I’ve made so many friends and I’ve just made even more through organising these events.
The Timewarp was not only a great arcade but was a good place for a Ukvac meet. It has a good mix of games from many eras, if I had any negative it needs maybe one two player black n white game like Ataris sprint or anything really from the Bronze Age represented, other than that I can’t fault it.
Thank you all for coming and hopefully next year I’ll organise two events one up north maybe arcade club and Timewarp again same time next year.
This time I’ll organise T-shirts mugs and make sure with have a competition again at both events.
