Restoring a couple of U4 cabs and ordered some Seimitsu PS14 buttons from the US with a plan but it's not worked out!

I wrongly assumed PS14G and PS14K would be basically the same mould and I would be able to swap the plungers around but the PS14K plunger is smaller than the PS14G.

Anyone have a source for PS14G buttons in Smoke colour? I need 8 of them but reluctant to pay another heavy whack getting them from US. Already cost me £5.50 a button for these!

Alternatively, if anyone has a source for (non transparent) Red/Yellow/Green/Blue PS14K buttons that would also solve my problem.

Unfortunately, Arcade Parts UK/Immortal Joysticks only have the PS14K in transparent colours.

Thanks in advance.

Restoring 2 of them. They were sat in a storage unit gathering dust. All controls knackered, PSUs knackered, Monitor chassis were shot on both. Just the shells, tubes and MVS wiring were really salvageable.

I’ve got the controls (or thought I had!) all new artwork and CPO coming from Europe, MS9 chassis for the monitors.

Been stripping them down and cleaning ready for some light body work and new art etc.

Just mocked one up currently to test 4 slots I bought.

Yeah he had 4 or 5 of them.

Stokers got one and there was at least one other when I collected mine. One of the lads on here tried to buy it but he couldn't get any communication from John.
I went and had a look at them back in August or September and they weren't great. I think they all had missing chassis' and needed a lot doing. The CP's were wrecked too. Got the Domy in the end as it was "working" but needs a ton of work doing. I guess he's busy with his Brewery business if he's gone radio silent.

Yeah they seemed a good deal at 650 each. I like a challenge and even when you factor in 800-1000 of parts/art etc needed to get them proper again its still a little cheaper than buying a minty one outright and you get to have the fun of doing the work!

Same with the Domy. Had to go see it first but kind of fell in love with the Rusty pile of crap from the off. So dinky with a huge screen ( which will be a pain to remove lol!
