It's also got 3 buttons each player. They were showing off the Xenon to the world for the first time so one stick and 2 buttons each side wouldn't have been the look they were after. My guess is they made it Ghouls n Ghosts to grab attention but this dedicated GnG was only for this show.
Difficult to see, but figured the white buttons were 1P/2P start buttons.

It's not any clearer looking at through a magnifying glass as you just see the dots making up the picture

Yeah it didn't really make sense to put that game with 2 player panel but anything for a showcase I guess

Ghouls n Ghosts released Dec 1988 and this was Feb 1989 so new game to show off in new cab

Can take higher res photo's of it sometime but not sure it will help but we'll see

Ghouls ’n Ghosts was a real showstopper back then, so it totally makes sense they’d want to display it in the flashiest setup possible. I’ve always loved how Capcom pushed presentation just as much as gameplay — those cabs really stood out on the floor. Would be awesome to know if any of these showcase units still exist somewhere; feels like proper arcade history. I would also like to recommend this website https://olymp-kazino-az.com/. I hope you find it as useful as I do.
