Last night I watched Red Sonja for the first time, only took 40 years then :ROFLMAO: few nights before I watched The Serpent and The Rainbow, not sure if I see that in early 90s or not, didn't remember it, maybe I just remember seeing advertised

going for same theme as last night, It's time for Conan The Barbarian from 1982 so 43 years for this one lol

Maybe what I should have done is looked at which year they're 40th birthday year was and watched those that year

Brigitte Nielson's acting in Red Sonia makes Arnie look like the best actor that ever lived. 😆 Still a good film, though. Watched Conan again last week. Good stuff.

There's loads but the one that sticks out is Schindlers list. Amazing story but I like films where death comes via Arnie with a rocket launcher rather than right wing racist ideology

I was watching them the other year again, when it got to 3 and 4 I was loosing interest, first too great though
yeah, i had a few Alien(s) nerds tell me not to watch past the first 2, they still like the others they just said they are nowhere near as good, so i just stopped, wish someone would have warned me about the Matrix sequels

There were some nice ideas in the 3rd and 4th Alien movies, but not a patch on the first two. After those, the newer movies are just going round in circles rehashing stuff.

I've never watched Indiana jones. Probably quite a few others as well. I'm a horror fan myself, and have just re watched all 3 maniac cop films. Funny enough, there were some classic cabs in one of them.
Wish I'd not seen them before. I'd love to be able to watch them for the first time again.

I even quite like the recent ones. Not as good as Raiders by any stretch but still watchable.

The Star Wars prequels on the other hand make me very very 😡
yeah, the films from the Skywalker saga were so superior to all the rest, although i think Rogue One is possibly the best film out of them all, i really really enjoyed that

some things just need leaving alone, but its a franchise and it needs milking by these big corps, much like how the Marvel Universe is ruining cinema at the moment

I was saying this to mates a year or two back, how good would it be if you could erase memory for a short while and be able to watch movies for first time again

Thing I find with watching older movies, some don't live up to what I expected but I wonder if I'd feel different about it if you had seen it in the 80's or 90's but then some that I didn't see till mid 2000's like The Warriors I thought was brilliant straight away and surely you would have been even more blown away in 1979

Indy Jones ones would be great to see for first time and 1st few Elm Street

Yeah, don't mind Rogue One and quite enjoyed the sequel trilogy, but they should burn the masters of anything with Ewan McGregor or JarJar Binks (can't quite decide which one of those 2 I hate most) in it.

Burning Ewan McGregor would be a bonus 😁
