[ukvac] WTD: Outrun Amplifier PCB

Has anyone got a working one that they'd be willing to sell?

Thanks

Dan

RE: [ukvac] WTD: Outrun Amplifier PCB

Hi Dan,

UK or US version?

I think I've still got the UK one you traded with me a while ago - it gives
a buzz if you turn the volume down low, but you said it worked ok in your
machine other than this.

For anyone that's interested, I also have 2 US Out Run audio amps up for
grabs too - if there's anyone out there with a US Out Run cab???!!

Cheers,
Gary

Isn't the UK one supposed to be or Atari Origin (as they built the UK
machines) ? I think its the same as the Gauntlet one.

My Machine is English, but most of the guts have come from the US
(wiring looms , Amp , Game board, etc).

Cheers, Colin

cab)

UK outruns = poopy Atari built..
American ones are probably Japanese built, or at the very worst they're
using all the proper parts..

Best regards,
Craig

Couldn't Sega Part #838-10018 be used?? I have loads of these.

Its a stereo Amp board servo with Loudness, it requires 12.5 to 18VAC input
for power, has input for a 5K Pot to be added for volume control, was used
commonly from '92 to around '94, before Sega changed to Part #834-10141
(Mixer & Eq Amp for S.Woofer).

The Outrun amp has a mute control input fed from one of the outputs
on the game pcb but I'm unsure if this is used by the game.
